Elcon celebrates 60th. anniversary with international dealers

Last week Elcon welcomed their international dealers at the Leimuiden production site to celebrate 60 years of sawing experience.

A vast expertise and competence is built up since the first Elcon circular saw was produced in 1948 and is shared within the partnership of dealers from all over the world in the consequent decades.

Some 30 representatives from Elcon partners world-wide gathered last Friday for the festive event.

The morning programme was dedicated to discuss the new production set-up where Lean Manufacturing offers Elcon a higher production capacity, higher delivery reliability and a shorter run-time.

Next to that, the party focussed on important market developments and on the most effective way to select user demands and to transfer these into new product developments.

The lively discussion amongst the participants showed the commitment of all involved to a continuous improvement of serving the present and future users of Elcon panel saws.
