Elcon sails through crisis

Of course there are several countries where the financial crisis has hit the economy very hard and where the Elcon sales reach only low levels, certainly compared to the very successful year 2008.
In other countries however, mainly in Western Europe, Elcon seems to gain market share and thus keeping up or even extending the sales levels. This increase in market share is based on the one hand upon the success of the new automatic vertical beam saw, the Advance²Quadra and on the other hand on the recently introduced very economic entry model, the D.
One of the features that speed up the “Quadra”-sales is the recently added possibility to link with Ardis optimizing software (see above).
The success of the D-series is based on its attractive relation between quality and price, as it combines the famous Elcon heavy robust frame construction and precision guidance with a very competitive price level.
